Return, cancellation and
Holiday Return Period
Orders placed between September 15, 2015 and December 15th, 2015 can
be returned for a refund or can be exchanged until
January 15th, 2016. Orders placed before or after this period are subject to the
30 day return policy.
Any damage claims must be made within 14 days of the shipping
date. See below for more details.
Dated ornaments can only be returned until December 1, 2015. All
dated ornaments are a final sale with no returns after December 1, 2015.
Refunds or exchange value would be less the actual shipping and handling
costs, which will exceed the flat rate that we charge. All
we ask is that the item have all its original packaging and materials.
This applies to items purchased only at TheBowlCompany.com and
excludes items purchased on Third Party Websites.
Orders over $1500 will have a
20% restocking fee. This fee is being passed along as many of our items are
returned to manufacturers and we are passing along this cost. Orders below $1500
will have $20 or the actual shipping and handling costs deducted, whichever is greater,
from refunds or exhange values.
Discontinued and Special Order Items are a final sale. All engraved
items are a final sale.

after the carrier has completed the claim process. Please see the section

Orders over $200 need to receive a return authorization and should
call or email.
Orders can only be cancelled within two (2) hours of being placed. Our systems
are automated and many will ship direct from manufacturer. The time stamp on
your order is central time, US. Backorders can be cancelled at anytime, however
in stock items cannot be cancelled after the two hour window. Orders get transmitted to shipping and
manufacturers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In-stock orders cannot be cancelled after the two (2) hour window.
An in-stock item is determined:
--If it is available at The Bowl Company (Item will show as In Stock)
--Will ship directly from the manufacturer within the time frame provided on the

Shipping delays at the manufacturer of a reasonable time frame (such as weather related or holiday backlogs) do not allow for order cancellation.
All returns must include original manufacturing boxes, tags, authenticities and
manufacturer materials. No refund can be provided if the product is returned
without these items.
All engraved orders are final sale, no returns unless the item arrives damaged.
Any order, for any reason, that falls below $75 will have a shipping charge
applied for items which you agree to have shipped.
Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We do not provide for
return shipping. Please insure your package appropriately.
All returns will have a return fee of $20 or the actual shipping and handling
charges deducted from any refund, whichever is greater for orders below $1,500. Actual shipping and
handling is what the shipping carrier (UPS, Fedex or USPS) charges to ship the
item plus handling and packaging costs. Orders over $1,500 will have a 20%
return fee applied to refunds or exchange costs.
In the event of a partial cancellation that causes your order to fall below the minimum
threshold to receive a discount or free shipping, the discount will be recalcuated and adjusted
to your refund

Refunds will be processed within 21 days. If you do not see your refund within
21 days, please contact us.
Refusal of a Delivery or Incorrect Address
Refusing a package that has been delivered by
the carrier will result in a $50 charge plus all applicable shipping and
handling fees incurred by The Bowl Company. In the event your order is less then
$50, no refund will be provided and you will authorize a charge to cover all
fees, including duties or customs if it is an international order, charged by
the shipping company for the return of the item.
Any order in which an incorrect address is provided and returned will incur the same charges as a refused delivery. The fees are charged
to us by the shipping companies and we must pass these along to the customer.
The Bowl Company does not bear the cost for shipping to a customer for which an
incorrect address was provided.
Orders Received With A Broken Item
While we do our best to package your order and over 99.5% of our items arrive
undamaged, we do occasionally have customers report broken items.
All claims for breakage MUST be made within 14 days of the ship date. No claim
for breakage will be accepted after this time. Please inspect your item upon its
arrival. Breakage reported after this window cannot be replaced. We pay for
insurance on all packaging and this is a shipper restriction as we cannot file a
claim once the 14 day window is passed.
To begin a breakage claim, we require a digital picture of the breakage. Please do
not return broken items. To start the process, send an email to
CustomerService@TheBowlCompany.com and include your order number and the
item that arrived broken. We will send you further instructions on the claim
Customers will receive an emailed confirmation of the order upon
completion. Please check your spam or junk if you do not receive it.
Customers will receive an email with an estimated shipping date of the order
within 1 business day.
Orders that require multiple shipments do not incur additional shipping charges
unless we specifically inform you prior to shipping and receive your approval.
Customers will receive an email with the tracking number upon shipment.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they are in the process of being shipped from us
or by the manufacturer. Our
