The Bowl Company started from an idea brought about by 5 small
decorative japanese rice bowls on the top of our stove.  With the dot com
boom going bust in 2002 and my job going with it, we looked around
for something that might be marketable and interesting.  The unique,
hand-crafted nature of those 5 little bowls gave us the idea  to find
such items and try to market them on the internet.  5  years later,
we have grown from those 5 small bowls to thousands of items from
some of the largest manufacturers of ceramics and dinnerware - and
we are soon to open a retail store. Of course, none of this could happen
without you, our loyal customers.

About Our Products
The hand-crafted nature of our products do have variations in size, color
and may have firing pin holes on the underside.  These are not defects
Every bowl that we present is unique and hand-crafted or painted.  We
do not sell aftermarket or second quality items.
